Okay, it's official. I'm a dork. I just finished posting about web orders. . . which isn't really big news, completely forgetting that David Bromstad from HGTV was in the store yesterday! He was shopping for a TV client. I mean, what good is this blogging thing if I forget the good stuff?! Doh!
So David is super-gracious and way-nice, in case you were wondering. Not giving off any TV-personality attitude. Even when our computer hiccuped he was patient and kind. He says he's working on a project for a kid's room with a "woodland animals" theme. It's likely the episode will air this summer. (Another proclamation of my dorkiness is that I don't have cable. So to my peeps out there who do. . . keep those DVRs running!) I'm thrilled he stopped by.
He bought the turtle and deer pillows ($132.00 each) from Amenity. Along with a couple coordinating pillows ($38.00 each) we had on hand from Potluck Studios. Amenity prints their adorable creatures on organic cotton in Los Angeles. And they're a perfect accent in a room with a woodland fantasy theme. I don't have a photo of the Potluck Studios pillow, so I've posted a swatch from their website. And I nabbed the photos of the Amenity pillows from their website.
